This new Netflix original movie hit the streamer on July 14th and shot straight to No. 1 worldwide. This post-apocalyptic sci-fi horror has some big shoes to fill and seems to be off to a great start.Birdhouse Barcelonais the movie everyone is talking about this week. It is written and directed by Àlex Pastor and David Pastor. It is a story parallel to that of 2018Bird Box. The original movie was based on Josh Malerman’s novel of the same name.
If you need a refresher,Birdhouse,followed a mother trying to get her two children to safety in a world ruined by an unseen presence. It was directed by Susanne Bier and adapted for the screen by Eric Heisserer. With Sandra Bullock, Trevante Rhodes, Sarah Paulson and John Malkovich. The movie is currently the fourth most watched movie on Netflix.
